Abstract Objective The spheroid model provides a physiological platform to study cancer cell biology and drug sensitivity. Usage of bovine collagen I for assays is costly especially when experiments are conducted in 24-well plates, as high volume needed. aim the was downsize microfluidic 3D culture chip compare growth, invasion response drug/compound spheroids embedded plates. Results Spheroids generated from nasopharyngeal carcinoma line HK-1 continuously grew invaded into matrix plate. Similar observations were noticed with chip. Large both plate disintegrated matrix. Preliminary sensitivity showed that growth inhibited treated combination cisplatin paynantheine at concentrations, Comparable findings obtained same Moving forward, could be performed more high-throughput manner minimal time cost.
